My name is Sophie and I have a passion for all things interiors. I love to create cosy and relaxing spaces to really make people feel at home. I am a mum of 3 young children and I truly understand how hectic a family home can be but I also know that when your home is your haven and is also designed in a functional way it is somewhere that you love to come home to and enjoy being together.

I’ve always enjoyed experimenting with interiors, as a child I was always keen on choosing new bedding and wallpaper for my bedroom but it was when we bought a house that needed renovating that I realised interior design was a field I wanted to work in.

I decided to leave the administration world behind and retrain in an industry I am passionate about which is when I found The Interior Designers Hub. I have since studied with them and am a proud member of their community and I have not only gained knowledge but also bundles of confidence which enabled me to create ‘Sophie Laws Interiors’. During this time I discovered a love of upcycling, I really enjoy taking something old, looking after it and bringing it back to life in a way that compliments its new home. Since then I have designed spaces for families to offer comfort and practicality whilst also respecting the interests and needs of the client.

I am a real home bird and I love to feel cosy and relaxed in my own home and I want to create that same feeling for others. Comfort is key when it comes to furniture and I love to add in bespoke and quirky accessories to add character to a room. I love interesting features such as door handles on cupboards and funky lights that bring that bit of ‘you’ to the space. I love the feel of a traditional home with modern touches to make family living more practical.
